I was being sued by a collector (not sure if I’m allowed to say which one now) for an old unsecured account and I was totally lost has to how I should handle it. I started researching online and realized there was a reason I wasn’t an attorney; I have no patience nor desire to learn and work through the mumbo-jumbo.
I found a whole bunch of services willing to ask for up front money to settle the debt (side note: never give up front money to a debt settlement service) but I wanted an attorney to intervene as I already had a case pending even though I hadn’t been served.
I found Ian through a general Google search and did some extensive research into his background. I scheduled a free consultation through his website and after a 30 minute call decided to let him take the reigns.
I never met him in person (still haven’t) which took some blind faith especially when there’s retainer fees involved but I had researched enough to know he was legit (or at least hoped I had).
Long story short, he got my case dismissed with prejudice and the pennies-on-the-dollar debt collector got squat! When you have one of these bully collectors hassling you, reach out to Ian!
Hopefully I won’t need his services again but should I find myself in the same boat you’d better believe I’m heading his way.
Great job Ian and thanks again!
